Politically active Witches spotted.

With private-eye-worthy sleuthing and hidden camera skills, local 7-year-old and magic-detector, Django, has captured the following image and sends this report to My Town Is Magical:

We saw 3 or 4 witches gathered by lake merrit this afternoon. They were carrying signs and we think they had been at a demonstration. Shortly after we saw them, they dispersed and went in different directions. I don’t think they saw us cause we were in the car.

We here at My Town Is Magical are pulled in two different directions with this report.
On the one hand, we’re rather frightened to see witches gathering in groups (is it a coven if there are only 2? What is the minimum number of witches to achieve coven status ?), particularly in broad daylight, and, again, particularly in a place where families are given to romp and play and bring their tasty, round, plump, delicious children.

On the other hand, we’re very supportive of witches being active in our political system, taking to the streets, making their signs, and engaging in protests and demonstrations. We stand with witches, who - in turn - stand with Black Lives Matter!

We can hope that the kind of witch who would show up to support the causes of peace and justice would be the kind of witch we could welcome into our communities without fear of them eating children… but where kid-eating is concerened, it’s best (we’ve found) to err on the side of caution.
