Alert Citizen Witnesses Strange, Tiny Creatures at Play

We received the following report from the obviously wise and keen-eyed Betty.

Subject: Magical creature sightings

Message: Reporting from lunch creek/river neighborhood. 3 emerge sometimes next door, we have watched them learn to walk, learn human words, now most common is "what's that?" Will email photo as they were sighted trying to learn to stand on their heads. Apparently not natural to their species.

We do not have permission to post the photo of these beautiful, hilarious and tiny creatures. But we here at My Town is Magical have seen enough to confidently say that, Betty, you are (apparently) living next door to a family of gnomes. From appearances (general jollyness, and obvious fondness for the lawn) we can surmise that they are Lawn Gnomes.

They are benign, possibly even friendly.
You should consider yourself fortunate to be seeing them up close and not just the statue replicas that are so common across our world.
